with Aid and Attendance This program was designed to help Veterans and surviving spouses receive the financial support that is necessary to ensure on-going care. Residents receiving care in assisted living communities may qualify for this program. Must have 90 days in active duty with at least one day during war time. Medical diagnosis must be such that require regular assistance and care. Assets must be less than $80,000 excluding personal residence, car or other assets used on a regular basis.
