About us:

Affectionate Family Care Home is a state-licensed residential care facility. We offer an attractive alternative for families when in-home care for an elderly member is no longer practical. In contrast to traditional nursing homes which are institutional in nature and often expensive, Affectionate Family Care offers affordable and warm home-like environment for its residents. Affectionate Family Care is committed to providing the most appropriate level of supervision and personal care while maintaining a living atmosphere conducive for residents to maximize their quality of life.

Amenities: Our tastefully decorated, large home is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in a friendly neighborhood. We offer  spacious and pleasantly furnished bedrooms and a choice of either private or semi-private rooms. In addition, separate wardrobe closets are provided for each resident. The park-like backyard is secured by a block wall fence. We accommodate non-ambulatory residents with handicap wheel in showers. Our facility is  fully equipped to meet the needs of residents with Dementia and Alzheimer. Convenient telephone access for residents along with television & individual telephone receptacles are available in each room upon request. We are also in full compliance with all fire codes and safety requirements.

Basic Services: In-home supervision for all residents; Dietician-prepared menus providing well-balanced meals and nutritious snacks; assistance in bathing, personal hygiene, toileting, grooming and care tailored to each resident's needs; medication monitoring and assistance; arrangements for transportation to and from medical appointments; planned and supervised in-house activities and outings plus in-home podiatry and beautician services. Dementia / Alzheimer's and Diabetic residents are offered individualized care.

Administration: Our carefully screened and thoroughly oriented staff uphold our policy of ensuring residents' personal rights and dignity. We staff at two caregivers for 5 or 6 residents. The fully trained and well-rounded staff  ready to respond to emergencies with up-to-date training in first aid and CPR.
